The Joint at Marylebone, a local favorite, is a branch of a popular Brixton barbeque place. Wooden benches for seats, lights dim enough to make the place look interesting but bright enough for one to be able to eat and an overwhelming wall painting of a pheasant; all in all, makes for a well done up place, perfect to just kick back, relax and have a good time.
FoodThe menu is short and simple with some sandwiches, ribs and sides. Essentially a meat-oriented fast food joint with a twist, they know how to sweep people off their feet with their enthusiastic service and unusual design.
Their £8.50 BBQ, Candied Apple Bacon, Slaw and Salad and 16 hour slow cooked pulled pork or slow cooked shredded chicken is something that you shouldn’t miss!
If you’re a vegetarian, there is not much for you to choose from except for their £8.50 dish they officially call ‘Veg’, in which you get seasonal chargrilled vegetables, guacamole, salsa and salad in a homemade bun or their sides – salad or fries. You can pair end your meal with some nice freshly craft beer or start it with some house special cocktails, either ways you will leave satisfied on less than £25 a head.
